Cuando este seca la pintura aplicamos una capa de cera incolora o natural luego se da una capa de cera coloreada de un tono oscuro y entonces se pulimos.
Para finalizar retiramos el exceso de cera oscura aplicando cera blanca únicamente en las zonas deseemos el look envejecido.

2) DECAPED EFFECT: Paint scraping
For this decaped effect, a paint layer with a dark tone and a lighter one (or vice versa) should be given.
We will achieve a more professional effect by applying wax or petroleum jelly between both layers and the ideal would be to apply it in areas that subsequently want to be stripped or worn.
To apply the paint we can use a brush, a roller or spray.
When the paint dries we can pass a medium grain sandpaper through the areas to be stripped and apply several layers of colorless or natural wax.

Para este efecto decapado se debe dar una capa de pintura de un tono oscuro y otra de uno más claro (o viceversa).
Conceguiremos un efecto más profesional aplicando cera o vaselina entre ambas capas y lo ideal seria aplicarlo en las zonas que posteriormente se quieren decapar o desgastar.
Para aplicar la pintura podemos utilizar una brocha, un rodillo o spray.
Cuando se seque la pintura podemos pasar una lija de grano medio por las zonas a decapar y aplicamos varias capas de cera incolora o natural.

En este especifico caso sera recomiendable el uso de pintura pizarra en spray o rodillo de lana (natural o sintética) de pelo corto (y lijamos posteriormente con con una lija de grano muy fino). Una vez se seca la pintura aplicamos varias capas de tinte y protegemos la superficie con cera incolora o aceite para madera.

Sand between coats. Use diferent grades of sandpaper, start with a high grit and sand your final coat with the smallest grit you can find for an ultra smooth finish.

Despues del completo secado de la pintura (conviene dejar pasar algunas horas), y posteriormente aplicamos calor sobre la pintura con un secador o pistola de calor para que se formen las grietas del craquelado.
Finalizamos el proceso con varias capas de cera incolora o natural para proteger.
